To forgive or not to forgive

A man executes his best friend in order to save him from an angry mob.

You may be angry at this man who killed his friend, but maybe he was saving him. Had the angry mob gotten his best freind then they would have tortured him, so when this man killed his friend he really did him a favor giving him a more humane death then being tore apart by a mass of humanity. He should be forgivin. He saved his friend from a terrible death.

I think killing is always wrong. But I also think everyone deserves forgiveness. I don't think I could kill anyone, but I don't know.....if they were about to suffer...maybe.

He could be forgiven, after all, the killer is really preventing his friend from suffering any more in the hands of the mob. This can be considered a noble reason to kill, aswell as a noble reason to die, especially if the execution was committed according to the will of the subject.
